Geoffrey Edward Jacobs

Geoffrey Edward Jacobs, a trial lawyer imbued with zeal and passion, focuses his career on advocating for individuals injured through no fault of their own. Working as an associate at Ankin Law, he is inspired by his father’s personal injury practice that helped injured workers face large insurance companies. He has applied these early observations in shaping his own legal path. His legal practice spans a variety of personal injury claims, including construction accidents, wrongful death, premises liability and motor vehicle accidents.

After graduating from law school in 2014, Mr. Jacobs has exclusively represented plaintiffs, achieving significant financial recoveries for his clients through settlements, arbitration awards and jury verdicts. He has a reputation for deeply engaging with his clients, ensuring he fully comprehends the broader impact of their injuries on their lives and families. This comprehensive understanding is critical in advocating effectively for their compensation.

Mr. Jacobs earned his bachelor’s degree from DePauw University in 2009 and proceeded to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2024. While in law school, he was the recipient of the Fred H. Herzog Scholarship for academic excellence. 

Priding himself on building personal connections with those he represents, he believes that a lawyer’s role extends beyond the courtroom. He strives to be a voice for those who might otherwise be overlooked, emphasizing the human element in legal representation. 

Outside of his professional duties, Mr. Jacobs is actively involved in his community through volunteer work. He contributes his time and effort to the Alzheimer’s Association and the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and School in Chicago.
