George Lattas

George Lattas of The Lattas Law Office devotes his practice to commercial real estate and corporate transactions, but leads an office that handles residential transactions, land use, lending, and general business law. He represents both individuals and businesses throughout the nation and is experienced in matters of leasing, purchase/sales and title clearance, as well as business organization and administration and contracts.

Mr. Lattas received a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance (honors) from DePaul University and went on to earn a JD/MBA from the DePaul University College of Law and Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He has been admitted to practice law in Illinois since 2008.

Mr. Lattas has served in a number of different roles throughout his career. Before practicing law, he worked as a financial analyst and tax consultant. He spent two years as general counsel for a real estate management and development company and has also served as an adjunct faculty member who taught undergraduate business courses.

Mr. Lattas participates in several other activities, including serving as the First Vice President of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago Metropolis Council, the Chairman of DePaul University College of Law Dean’s Advisory Council, the Vice President of the parish council of the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, director of the Hellenic Bar Association, and a member of AHEPA. Mr. Lattas is also a member of various Illinois-based professional legal organizations and is interested in missions such as poverty alleviation.
