Jack Beam is the founder and partner at Beam Legal Team LLC, a birth injury law firm in Chicago, Illinois. His renowned reputation across Chicago and nationwide is credited to his unwavering dedication to advocating justice in various legal concerns, such as:

While he focuses on seeking justice for victims of obstetric and neonatal malpractice, he has also represented plaintiffs in high-profile personal injury cases, including civil rights disputes and the tragic Columbine High School Massacre. Recently, on March 23, he and his colleagues secured a $23.5 million triumph on behalf of a brain-damaged child in a legal battle against Presence St. Joseph Hospital.

Mr. Beam boasts an impressive academic history, having completed his political science degree with honors at the University of Michigan (1971) and amassed additional undergraduate credits in government studies from Harvard University (1970). His unwavering pursuit of academic excellence led him to Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where he obtained his J.D. in 1974 and secured a coveted position on the Northwestern University Law Review editorial board. Additionally, during his time at the law school, he completed an apprenticeship under the guidance of Jim Dooley.

Since his licensure in Illinois in 2005, Mr. Beam has garnered admission to practice law in several states, including Missouri, Wisconsin, Ohio, Tennessee and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Moreover, he is an active member of the Federal Bar Association – the Eastern and Western District of Michigan chapter and the 7th Circuit Bar Association. Furthermore, his stellar reputation is reflected in his "Superb" rating on Avvo. Mr. Beam joined the U.S. Department of Justice Honors Program, serving as a staff attorney in the Frauds Section of the Civil Division. He dedicated himself to recovering taxpayer funds under the False Claims Act from federal contractors engaged in fraud. After his tenure in Washington D.C., he transitioned to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Delaware, prosecuting various federal crimes. His career ascended to directing an FBI Strike Force, centering on fraud within FHA/HUD programs. Post his U.S. Department of Justice service, he practiced law in Michigan and Colorado.
