John M. Burke

John M. Burke serves as the of counsel at the Chicago branch of the Illinois law firm Dudley & Lake, which has another branch in Libertyville. Just like the firm, he also focuses his practice on personal injury law. He emphasises on taking up cases on behalf of personal injury plaintiffs, especially in the fields of product liability, medical malpractice and construction accidents. 

Licensed in Illinois since 1965, Mr. Burke is peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell. For several decades, he has been continuing to work toward seeking justice for people who have been injured due to no fault of their own. He exudes compassion and empathy for his clients and makes sure to stand by them throughout the litigation process. 

Obtaining several millions of dollars as verdicts or settlements for his clients, Mr. Burke recently secured sums in excess of a million for cases involving a trench cave-in and an injured carpenter in a roof collapse. It gives him immense satisfaction and happiness in being able to help people in dire need and helping them get back on their feet. He finds true gratification in bringing the guilty parties to justice and getting his clients the compensation they deserve. 

Mr. Burke completed his Juris Doctor from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. In his many years of experience, he has served as the chairman of the Tort Law Section Council for the Illinois State Bar Association. He has also had the privilege of being on the board of managers for the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association for the past four decades.
