Jonathan Merel is a dependable attorney helping clients navigate through the uncertainties of family law matters across Chicago, Illinois. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin, Mr. Merel proceeded to law school to hone his legal and advocacy skills. He received his Juris Doctor at Chicago-Kent College of Law, and in 2002, he was admitted to practice law in Illinois. In addition to his Illinois license, he is also authorized to practice law in both Michigan and Wisconsin, expanding his ability to serve clients across multiple jurisdictions effectively. 

Throughout his career, Mr. Merel has obtained multiple wins for his clients in multimillion-dollar marital estates and contested custody (allocation of parental responsibility) suits. With extensive experience in the Chicagoland legal community, he is proficient at settling intense divorces and custody disputes.
