Jonathan Walner is a seasoned injury attorney and the founder of Walner Law in Chicago, Illinois, where he has built a reputation for obtaining outstanding results for clients in personal injury, wrongful death, nursing home abuse and medical malpractice matters. His mass tort experience includes claims involving transvaginal mesh, defective hip and knee prosthetics, and other life-changing injuries.
Mr. Walner has also led significant class action and antitrust litigation. He helped initiate and manage class actions involving more than $1 million class members and has secured over $50 million in settlements. His notable cases include an antitrust claim against a resin manufacturer used in engine blocks and a mass tort case involving 35 deaths and hundreds of injuries against the city of Milwaukee and Sara Lee.
In addition to his practice, Mr. Walner is deeply engaged in the legal and local communities. He is a Chair Appointed Arbitrator in Cook County’s Mandatory Arbitration system and a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. His pro bono and philanthropic work includes mentoring, fundraising and supporting organizations that serve children and adults with disabilities.
