Founder of Front Door Legal LLC, Justin Strane focuses his practice primarily on commercial and residential real estate transactions, and estate planning. His firm is located in Chicago, and he provides representation to people and businesses throughout the greater metropolitan area. In addition to his real estate practice, Justin handles a variety of other types of business matters for his clients, and he is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Justin attended the University of Michigan, where he studied political science and music and received a Bachelor of Arts in 2007. He then enrolled at The John Marshall Law School, which is now the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. While he was there, Mr. Strane was an editor of the John Marshall Review of Intellectual Property Law and won a first place award in a national moot court competition prior to graduating with his Juris Doctor in 2010. He also holds an LL.M. in real estate from his law school alma mater.
In his real estate practice, Mr. Strane has represented buyers and sellers in connection with the purchase and disposition of residential and commercial properties. He has also assisted condominium associations, and he has negotiated, prepared, and reviewed lease agreements involving office buildings and other commercial real property. Outside of the real estate and estate planning areas, he has helped clients launch new ventures and provided them with advice and counsel on regulatory compliance as well as mergers and acquisitions. Held in high regard by his colleagues, Mr. Strane possesses a 10.0 “Superb” peer review rating through Avvo.
