Mr. Burton completed his undergraduate studies in 1996, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Arizona. He went on to enroll in the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he fine-tuned his sagacious legal acumen and bolstered his strong legal foundation. He received his Juris Doctor in 2000, as well as his license to practice in Illinois. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 7th and 9th Circuits, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Moreover, Mr. Burton is regularly present to defend his clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the United States Department of Homeland Security and immigration courts.
