Kelly Sabo Gaden

A partner at the law firm of Levin & Perconti based in Chicago, Illinois, attorney Kelly Sabo Gaden has been focusing her practice exclusively on personal injury law for almost 20 years. She primarily advocates for the rights of medical malpractice and nursing home abuse victims.

Some of Ms. Gaden’s noteworthy results include a $5 million settlement for a woman suffered a spinal cord injury with delayed diagnosis resulting in quadriplegia, a $1.6 million settlement for a resident who passed away at the age of 93 due to heat exposure; $1.5 million for the family of a 31-year-old who wrongfully died due to a traumatic brain injury; $1 million for a nursing home resident whose hip was fractured after a fall.

Hailing from Orland Park, Illinois, Ms. Gaden graduated with her Bachelor of Arts from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. Three years later, she earned a doctorate in law from Capital University Law School located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. While there, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and contributed to an article that was published in the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. She was admitted to practice in Illinois in 2007.

A long-serving member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Ms. Gaden has been a member of its Board of Managers, Board of Advocates and Women’s Caucus. She has also held several leadership positions at the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and the American Association for Justice – Nursing Home Litigation Group. Additionally, she is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Ms. Gaden’s accomplishments in the medical malpractice arena have been recognized by Lawyers of Distinction. Moreover, she was selected among the "Emerging Lawyers" by Leading Lawyers in 2019. The National Trial Lawyers selected her for inclusion in the Top 40 Under 40 attorneys, and the Chicago Law Bulletin Publishing Company listed her among the “40 Attorneys Under Forty to Watch” in Illinois.
