Ken has represented condominium associations, homeowners associations, developers, and managers for more than 35 years. He writes extensively in this field of law. His  approach is to manage associations with close attention to best practices in corporate governance. 

He also has represented entities in the acquisition and development of commercial, retail, and industrial properties in Illinois and out-of-state, including office buildings, hotels, manufacturing facilities, and warehouses. He has developed extensive, complex real estate developments. Commercial leasing projects have included office buildings and commercial space. 

A substantial portion of his practice today involves business, commercial, and condominium litigation where he has been successful in defending directors, officers, managers, members, and partners. He has represented his clients in land use litigation for years. 

Having taught corporate law at a law school for several years, he provides business governance advice for corporations, not-for-profit corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships. His transactional work includes asset sales, stock sales, and change of corporate control. His transactions involving financing projects and acquisitions.
