Kenneth A. Nazarian

Kenneth A. Nazarian is a partner and senior attorney at the Illinois-based legal firm Barney & Karamanis, LLP, in Chicago. With over a decade of experience, he has been practicing law in the state of Illinois since 2012. He has successfully represented hundreds of clients residing in Chicago and surrounding suburbs in several areas of law, including personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, employment discrimination and commercial litigation.

A native of Illinois, Mr. Nazarian pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He then attended the Syracuse University College of Law and attained his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2012 and was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his exceptional performance in the lawyering skills class. He was also a member of the law school’s Moot Court Honor Society, the Intellectual Property Law Society and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. 

Belonging to a family of medical professionals, Mr. Nazarian has developed a unique perspective and understanding of the medical field, allowing him to effectively evaluate the medical negligence of hospitals, physicians and hospital staff. He has successfully litigated matters involving failure to diagnose infections on-time, surgical complications and joint fractures, among others. He also provides sound counsel to businesses and commercial entities of varying sizes and has represented companies from several industries such as medical software development, power supply distributors, battery cabinet manufacturing and construction fence corporation in federal and state courts in Illinois.
