Kristofer S. Riddle is a partner at Clifford Law Offices PC and represents clients in Chicago, Illinois. A determined advocate with a wide range of litigation experience, he handles cases of personal injury, including wrongful death, class action suits, premises liability and qui tam/whistleblower matters. One of his biggest professional achievements was a case that settled for $250 million the first day of trial against State Farm Insurance, highlighting the fact that he is not afraid to take on big corporations or insurance companies for the sake of his clients.
His experience also extends to transportation liability and maritime law. In 2017, Mr. Riddle was named to the Forty Under 40 by Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, and Law Bulletin Media included him as an Emerging Lawyer for several years, starting in 2018.
At The City College of New York, Mr. Riddle earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science, was a McNair Scholar and a recipient of the Marvin Rosenberg Fellowship. He then moved on to law school at DePaul University College of Law, where he earned a Juris Doctor.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Riddle worked for the Master of Public Policy Program at Duke University Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy. He gained difficult experience early on in his career when almost immediately after becoming a lawyer, he began working on cases like the cruise ship of Costa Concordia that ran aground in Italy, and he often wins multimillion-dollar settlements and verdicts for his clients.
