Martin A. Dolan

Martin A. Dolan is the principal attorney and owner of Dolan Law P.C. located in Chicago, Illinois. Concentrating his legal practice on personal injury law, he is well known and trusted with high-profile complex cases involving medical malpractice, sexual assault, reckless driving, product liability and wrongful death. Additionally, he also takes on cases requiring civil and business litigation.

An experienced and dedicated litigator with more than three decades of experience, Mr. Dolan has earned an outstanding reputation for vigorously pursuing justice for his clients. Known for his courtroom skills, he does not shy away from taking on large institutions and corporations. He has successfully represented victims of personal injury against a few of the big names in the industry and obtained groundbreaking verdicts.

Mr. Dolan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 1985. He later received his doctorate in jurisprudence from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 1988 and was admitted to practice law in Illinois the same year. He advocates for his clients before the federal and national courts, including the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Supreme Court of the U.S. 

Before establishing his law firm, Dolan Law P.C., Mr. Dolan served in various positions in both government offices and private legal firms. He began his career as a criminal prosecutor at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, where he worked for five years, and later at a renowned legal firm in the greater Chicago area. 

Mr. Dolan’s legal work and accomplishments are widely respected in the legal community and a few of his notable cases have been discussed and featured on NBC, CBS, USA Today and Chicago Tribune. He is included in The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 list and was named by Chicago Lawyer magazine as a top 40 Under 40 attorneys. 

Apart from his law practice, Mr. Dolan stays active in the local community by regularly publishing articles and engaging in pro bono work through multiple associations such as the Center for Disability and Elder Law and the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
