Mr. Healy received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame before going on to be awarded his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1968. He then became a law clerk for the Supreme Court of Illinois, for which he chaired the Rules Committee. He also served as counsel to the Illinois House of Representatives and Assistant Corporation Counsel with the City of Chicago. In 1980, he entered private practice.

Mr. Healy has earned a number of honors and awards for his legal ethics and skill. Leading Lawyers Network voted him one of the Top 10 Illinois Plaintiff Attorneys.
