Michael G. DiDomenico

Focusing his practice exclusively on family law matters, Michael G. DiDomenico is a partner at Lake Toback DiDomenico. He has been an attorney at the Chicago-based firm since 2003, and he represents clients throughout Cook, DuPage, Will, Lake, and Kane counties as well as in other parts of the greater metropolitan area. Mr. DiDomenico is admitted to practice before all Illinois state courts.

A highly-regarded civil litigator, Mr. DiDomenico has handled many divorce cases at both the trial and appellate levels when negotiations have broken down and heading to court becomes necessary. The matters that he has advocated on behalf of his clients for have included the division of complex marital assets and debts, spousal and child support, and child custody and visitation. Many of Mr. DiDomenico’s clients have significant assets, and several of his cases have reached the Illinois Supreme Court and have been decided in their favor.

Mr. DiDomenico has also represented people whose marriages have already been legally dissolved and who are now seeking to have existing support and parenting court orders enforced or modified. His family law experience has additionally included the preparation and review of prenuptial and post-marital agreements, and he has worked on adoptions and has helped victims of domestic violence obtain protective orders.

Mr. DiDomenico has written extensively on family law topics for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education and other publications. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, The Chicago Bar Association, the Appellate Lawyers Association, and the Justinian Society of Lawyers. Mr. DiDomenico is a 2003 cum laude graduate of the UIC John Marshall Law School.
