Michael P. McCready

Michael P. McCready is the managing partner of McCreadyLaw Injury Attorneys in Chicago, Illinois, a firm he founded in 1999 on the guiding principle of protecting the rights of injured individuals in Chicago and beyond. With more than three decades of legal experience, he has built a reputation as a trusted advocate for clients navigating personal injury claims, including car and truck accidents, workplace injuries, wrongful death and other cases involving negligence.

Mr. McCready began his career after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Richmond with his undergraduate degree, completing the program in only three years. He continued at the University of Richmond’s T.C. Williams School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor cum laude in 1992. Following law school, he served as a law clerk for a federal judge in Virginia before relocating to Chicago. Within four years at a personal injury law firm, he was named partner, and shortly thereafter, he established his own practice.

Since its founding, McCready Law Injury Attorneys has grown significantly under Mr. McCready’s leadership, combining compassionate client service with aggressive representation. His firm holds an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau and has been recognized among the “Best of Chicago” for personal injury representation. He is licensed to practice in Illinois, Indiana, Virginia and before multiple federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court.
