Mitchell W. Horwitz, with nearly 35 years of legal experience, is a managing partner at the highly respected Chicago law firm of Horwitz Horwitz & Associates, Ltd., where he focuses on workers' compensation law. A Chicago native, Mr. Horwitz attended Northern Illinois University for his undergraduate studies, and he attended The John Marshall Law School where he graduated with honors with a Juris Doctor degree in 1979. That same year he was admitted to both the Illinois State Bar Association and The Florida Bar. Also in 1979, he joined Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates, Ltd., where he continues to serve Chicago residents with workers' compensation cases.

Mr. Horwitz is the head of the workers' compensation practice at Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates, Ltd., and has dedicated his entire career to protecting the rights of Illinois employees. Over the past 35 years, he has seen thousands of cases successfully resolved and has recovered millions of dollars for his clients.
