With a formidable reputation as a diligent and shrewd attorney, Peter G. Syregelas works hard to ensure his clients get the quality representation they deserve in their insurance coverage or appellate cases. A partner at Lindsay, Pickett & Postel, LLC, and the lead of its Appellate Department as well, he serves clients in Chicago, Illinois, and statewide.

After graduating in 2002 with his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Loyola University Chicago, Mr. Syregelas attended the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. While in law school, he maintained several important roles at the University of Illinois Law Review, including serving as an editorial board member and editor for lead articles and student publications. He was also distinguished as a Fred Herzog scholar. He received his Juris Doctor in 2006, and in the same year, his license to practice law in Illinois. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois.

Mr. Syregelas spent a significant amount of time – prior to him joining private practice – as a law clerk for Justice Robert E. Gordon of the Illinois Appellate Court, where he conducted extensive legal research, analyzed and reviewed cases, and much more. The exposure he gained from his experience working for the courts gives him a unique insight into how the justice system operates. With his insider knowledge, he understands how to effectively work the system to his clients’ benefit. For his tireless efforts in creating a dynamic, client-centric practice, he has been rated “Very Good” on Avvo.

Outside his practice, Mr. Syregelas is active within legal organizations such as the Hellenic Bar Association, working to improve the quality of service within his legal community to the stringent high standards he sets for himself.
