Attorney Richard I. Levin of the Levin, Riback, Adelman & Flangel, P.C., has several years of experience representing clients in Chicago and throughout Cook County, Illinois. He handles a variety of matters involving construction law, motor vehicle accidents, personal injury and plaintiff sex crimes.
Mr. Levin holds a bachelor’s degree in insurance and real estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and he earned his law degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law. Licensed to practice in the state of Illinois since 1986, he has extensive litigation experience and has both tried and settled many significant cases over the course of his career.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Levin greatly enjoys educating others. He is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University and serves as an instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, teaching courses for the institute at various educational facilities throughout the country. He has also presented for several professional organizations, including the Chicago Bar Association, the American Board of Quality Assurance. Along with his teaching and speaking roles, Mr. Levin has authored articles that have appeared in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, the Chicago Bar Association Journal Teaching and the Chicago Bar Association Record.
Mr. Levin has also served in leadership roles in such professional groups. From 1995 to 1998, he was co-chair of the trial techniques division of the young lawyers’ section of the Chicago Bar Association and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
