- Vachaachira v. State Farm. Breach of contract suit involving denial of insurance claim for fire damage to real estate and personal property. Successfully defended State Farm on basis of insurance fraud. Co-chaired one-week jury trial before the Honorable Richard Lucas. Jury verdict entered in favor of State Farm on all counts. Jury verdict affirmed on appeal by the Second District.
- Salwierak v. Baranski. Adversary proceeding in bankruptcy under 11 U.S.C. Sec.523(a)(6) objecting to dischargeability of $136,000 sexual harassment award obtained after administrative trial at City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations. Sole attorney at trial before the Honorable John H. Squires. Judgment entered in favor of plaintiff client after trial rendering sexual harassment award non-dischargeable.
- Akkerman v. City of Harvey, et al. Religion and race discrimination, retaliation, conspiracy, due process, and intentional infliction of emotional distress suit under 42 U.S.C. Sec.2000(e) et seq., 42 U.S.C. Sec.1985(3), and 42 U.S.C. Sec.1983. Successfully defended former Chief of Police. Motion to Dismiss granted by the Honorable James F. Holderman dismissing Police Chief on all counts.
- Donatowicz v. Donatowicz v. Pikul. Third-party action for fraud, fraudulent inducement, conspiracy, fraudulent conveyances and piercing the corporate veil. Successfully defended third-party defendant. Sole attorney at trial before the Honorable Calvin Hall. Judgment entered in favor of third-party defendant on all counts after trial.

Baranski. $136,000 judgment entered in favor of plaintiff client in sexual harassment case, after trial before an administrative law judge at the City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations and subsequent enforcement action in Chancery court. Award included punitive damages, compensatory damages for emotional distress, and attorney's fees.
- DeTrana, et al. v. Fifth Third Bank, et al. Suit by trust beneficiaries against trustee bank alleging breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, ITTA and privacy violations, negligent hiring, misrepresentation, fraud, intentional infliction of emotional distress, rescission and sui juris. Successfully defended Fifth Third bank. Negotiated settlement through which all counts were dismissed, no money was paid to plaintiffs, and plaintiffs were required to reimburse bank for its attorney’s fees.
- Neal v. City of Harvey, et al. Due process, false arrest and false imprisonment suit under 42 U.S.C. Sec.1983 and state common law. Successfully defended former Chief of Police. Summary Judgment granted by the Honorable Elaine E. Bucklo on all counts disposing of case against former Chief of Police. Published opinion.
- Autotech Controls Corporation v. K.J. Electric Corporation. Appeal of order dismissing contract suit for lack of personal jurisdiction under amended subsection of the Illinois Long-Arm Statute. Successfully argued before the Illinois Appellate Court, First District on question of first impression. First District reversed dismissal in published opinion.

Federal court trial before the Honorable Brian Barnett Duff resulted in judgment in favor of plaintiff for full relief, including substantial attorneys' fees award. Judgment for plaintiff affirmed by the Seventh Circuit in two published opinions.
