Steven A. Berman

Steven A. Berman is a personal injury attorney and partner at Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen, Ltd., in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Berman has over 25 years of experience and handles cases involving construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and slip-and-fall accidents, representing injury victims throughout Chicago.

Mr. Berman has argued dozens of jury trials over the course of his legal career in both trial courts and courts of appeal. He has recovered major awards for his clients, including several multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements. In one case, he was able to secure a settlement of more than $10 million. In another case, he successfully argued that Illinois law should be more generous toward people who have been injured after slipping on ice that has formed due to unsafe plowing practices. Outside of the office, Mr. Berman is active in the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, serving on the Board of Managers. After earning a bachelor’s degree from Bradley University, Mr. Berman received his law degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law. He has practiced at Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen, Ltd. since 1998. He holds licenses to practice law before all Illinois state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
