Telly J. Liapis

With over 25 years of experience practicing law, Telly J. One of his many notable verdicts involved a medical malpractice case that resulted in a $6.3 million verdict for his client against Chicago Osteopathic Hospital. 

Mr. Liapis completed his undergraduate studies in 1994, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science from Loyola University Chicago. He then went on to attend the Illinois Institute of Technology – Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in real estate legal drafting and advanced research in securities. He received his Juris Doctor in 1997, and in the same year, he obtained his license to practice law in Illinois. 

Within his legal community, Mr. Liapis holds close affiliations with many legal organizations, including the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Hellenic Bar Association, the American Bar Association, The Chicago Bar Foundation and the Illinois State Bar Association. Moreover, he helps law students hone their legal talents as a coach of the Chicago-Kent International Moot Court.
