Thomas Jake Tomasik

A seasoned trial attorney and partner at Clifford Law Offices PC in Chicago, Illinois, Thomas Tomasik holds an extensive history of trying multiple intricate medical malpractice cases and reaching successful verdicts. Throughout his decade-long career in law, he has handled many mediations concerning severe injuries due to catastrophic events.

Mr. Tomasik’s portfolio includes managing a multitude of complex medical malpractice lawsuits, encompassing all stages of litigation – from prepping expert witnesses for trial to drafting critical dispositive motions on an array of legal matters. Presently, he focuses on wrongful death hospital care and negligent obstetrical care within the firm.

Hailing from the western suburbs of Chicago, kin of healthcare practitioners, Mr. Tomasik is renowned for his empathetic and diligent handling of cases. He acquired his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2015 while completing his bachelor's degree in political science and classical studies from Purdue University in 2011. He was granted his license to practice law in Illinois in the same year of his graduation from law school.

Before partnering at Clifford Law Offices PC, Mr. Tomasik was an associate attorney at a litigation firm in Warrenville, Illinois. He was also a legal assistant in various other law firms. Additionally, he was a records clerk at the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office and voluntarily helped as a legal aide for victims at the Domestic Violence Courthouse - Circuit Court of Cook County.
