Tor Hoerman

At TorHoerman Law LLC, Tor Hoerman brings his extensive background in personal injury litigation to bear primarily on cases involving consumer safety and negligence causing catastrophic injury. Largely through Mr. Hoerman's efforts, the firm has recovered verdicts and settlements totaling more than $300 million. Additionally, Chief Judge David R. Herndon of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois named him co-lead counsel in national litigation regarding the drug Pradaxa. Similarly, Judge Anthony J. Battaglia named him to the same position in a Southern California federal court for a case involving several nationally released diabetes drugs.

Admitted to practice before state courts in three states and several federal district courts in Illinois and California, Mr. Hoerman holds membership in the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, and multiple state and county bar associations. He is also a member of The Injury Board.

After receiving his undergraduate degree in political science in 1991 from DePauw University, where he was the captain of the baseball team, Mr. Hoerman earned his Juris Doctor with honors from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1995. He graduated with dean's list honors and received an academic achievement scholarship.
