Lauren is a Partner at Elliott & Associates and has been practicing law since 2014. She joined Elliott with nearly 5 years’ experience in civil litigation with a prominent personal injury law firm and a personal injury defense firm. Lauren now practices exclusively in the real estate tax area.
Lauren represents property owners before the Cook County Assessor, Cook and collar county Boards of Review and the Property Tax Appeal Board. You will frequently find her arguing, settling, trying cases and obtaining top-notch results.
Lauren has been designated an Emerging Lawyer by her peers (an award reserved for the top 2% of Illinois lawyers aged 40 years or under). She received this honor at age 28. She is former Chair and current member of The Chicago Bar Association Real Estate Taxation Committee and an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association State and Local Taxation Committee. She sit on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Property Tax Association and currently serves as the Vice President of Philanthropy.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University in Bloomington and a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law where she was a member of the Dean’s list and an active participant in the Chicago Kent Trial Advocacy Program.
