Principal and founding member of Weiss-Kunz & Oliver, LLC, Maxine Weiss Kunz represents clients in Elmhurst, Illinois, in matters of traditional litigation, adoptions, collaborative law and family law. At Indiana University Bloomington, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunication and psychology with a minor in business before moving on to law school. Ms. Kunz attended the Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she earned a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution & Trial Advocacy and her Juris Doctor. In 2015, she also finished the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s Family Law Trial Advocacy Program.
Admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, Ms. Kunz is also admitted before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois. Ms. Kunz is also an alumni ambassador for her alma mater, the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
