Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Hoffenberg worked as inside counsel for one of the largest law firms in the world providing advice to attorneys on real estate, liens and other related matters. His experience also includes writing memorandum opinions on a wide variety of civil cases as a judicial clerk in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. He also subsequently worked in private practice as an advocate attorney on all aspects of complex litigation matters.

After graduating with honors from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in December 2001, Mr. Hoffenberg worked as a traffic prosecutor for the City of Chicago while studying for the bar exam. He obtained his license to practice in Illinois the following year, and later, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (2003). He is also a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in literature.

Mr. Hoffenberg has extensive experience with all types of commercial and real estate transactional matters.
