Mr. Karayannis made his first foray into the legal field when he enrolled in the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. During his time there, he was a member of the John Marshall Law School Law Review and the John Marshall Honorary Society, and in 1986, he received his Juris Doctor with distinction. Prior to attending law school, he completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1983.

Since becoming licensed to practice law in Illinois the same year he graduated from law school, Mr. Karayannis has worked constantly to progress the standard of client care in his industry to even greater heights through his own practice. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, the United States Tax Court and the Supreme Court of the United States.
