Jeffrey S. Taylor

Jeffrey S. Taylor is a prominent attorney and a partner at Spesia & Taylor Attorneys At Law in Joliet, Illinois, and serves the residents of the Chicago metropolitan area. He is well adept at handling a variety of negligence-related matters, including motor vehicle accidents, product defects, professional malpractice, nursing home abuse and construction injuries and defects, as well as catastrophic injuries and wrongful death.

Since his time at law school, Mr. Taylor was primed to be a leading member of the Illinois legal community. At the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, he was a member of the Moot Court Board, the National Health Law Moot Court team and president of the Trial Advocacy and Litigation Association. In addition, he was inducted into The Order of John Marshall, a scholarship honors society, and received his Juris Doctor cum laude in 1995. Prior to joining law school, he is a 1991 B.A. degree graduate from Colorado State University, where he was also on the dean’s list for his academic prowess.

Licensed to practice in Illinois the same year he graduated law school, Mr. Taylor is also licensed to practice in Missouri. Furthermore, he is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois and the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. He started his legal career in a prominent law firm in Chicago, where he represented Fortune 500 companies on a host of different issues, giving him a good grasp of legal areas such as business law, employment law, personal injury and negligence, and regulatory compliance issues.
