Mr. Lutrey graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science. He then went on to receive a Master of Business Administration in finance from DePaul University while also earning a Juris Doctor from the DePaul University College of Law in 1996.

For the past 20 years, Mr. Lutrey has been helping people plan their legacies. Taking his time to understand a client's goals, he pieces together a comprehensive plan that addresses every area of concern. He works closely with clients to ensure that their estate plans account for items such as insurance matters, probate, guardianships and tax considerations. In his role as chair of the Illinois State Bar Association's Trusts and Estates Section Council's Legislation Committee, Mr. Lutrey has helped to develop state laws that affect estate planning. For his accomplishments, he holds an Avvo "Superb" rating.

A published author, Mr. Lutrey regularly participates in speaking engagements and recently completed his fourth year as an adjunct professor for the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
