Attorney Jennifer J. Howe is the managing partner of Lesser Lutrey Pasquesi & Howe, LLP, in Lake Forest, Illinois. Ms. Howe focuses her practice on estate and trust litigation, estate planning, fiduciary protection, special needs planning, tax planning, wealth preservation and wealth transfer.

Ms. Howe has more than 25 years of experience. She is licensed in Michigan and Illinois, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th and 7th Circuits, and the Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois.

In addition to her practice, Ms. Howe lectures on estate, trust and employment law, and served as an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Active in her local legal community, she served as president of the Lake County Bar Association in 2017-2018 and is a former vice president, second vice president and secretary of the association as well as a former member of the trusts and estates section council of the Illinois State Bar Association.

Ms. Howe previously served as chair of the Lake County Bar Association’s guardianship help desk, a volunteer service that provides pro bono support to Lake County residents in guardianship matters. She is also a former member of the board of directors of the Lake County Bar Foundation and the Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County.

Ms. Howe graduated from the University of Notre Dame. She earned her law degree from Detroit Mercy Law, graduating cum laude.
