Sean C. Burke

Attorney Sean C. Burke is the founder and owner of Sean Burke Law, LLC, in Lake Forest, Illinois. Serving clients throughout Lake Forest and the surrounding Chicago Metro region, Mr. Burke has more than 25 years of legal experience, and he devotes his practice to helping those who have legal claims involving any of the following:

A former prosecutor with the Lake County State Attorney's Office, Mr. Burke gained invaluable trial experience trying a wide range of criminal cases. After maintaining that role for five years, he then entered private practice and focused on medical malpractice litigation and personal injury law as a way to help those in his community who need it the most. Finding great reward in assisting individuals and families in need, Mr. Burke has achieved significant success advocating on behalf of those suffering needlessly through no fault of their own.

Among his most notable successes, Mr. Burke obtained a settlement of more than $3.5 million for a worker who lost his leg in a workplace accident, a $2.3 million settlement for the family of a woman who died as the result of a botched gallbladder surgery, a $2.5 million settlement for an injured elevator mechanic, and a jury verdict of $1.6 million on behalf of a woman who experienced severe complications to her leg and foot following knee replacement surgery.
