Eirene N. Salvi

Eirene N. Salvi is a committed personal injury attorney at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in Chicago, Illinois. Serving the Chicago metro area and clients statewide, she dedicates her practice to advocating for victims of medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, defective products, and wrongful death.

Since joining the firm in 2016, Ms. Salvi has recovered more than $625 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients. She treats every client like family, focusing intensely on individual needs to ensure each victim receives the dedicated representation required to rebuild their lives. For Ms. Salvi, fighting for justice extends beyond the courtroom. She is committed to advocating for those harmed by negligence, strengthening the legal profession, and expanding access to justice for people in need.

Ms. Salvi has been part of trial teams that obtained some of the firm’s most significant results – including a $148 million jury verdict for a dancer who was paralyzed when a pedestrian shelter collapsed on her at O’Hare International Airport. The verdict is the highest compensatory verdict awarded to an individual plaintiff in Illinois history.

More recently, Ms. Salvi has secured significant results in cases involving unauthorized police pursuits and helped the firm obtain the state’s highest reported verdict and settlement for a police pursuit crash. In 2024, she was part of a trial team that won a $79.85 million jury verdict for the family of a 10-year-old girl who was killed following an unauthorized pursuit in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood. That same year, she obtained a $45 million settlement for a teenage boy who suffered catastrophic brain injuries following a crash stemming from an improper pursuit by the Chicago Police Department. According to the Jury Verdict Reporter, the verdict and settlement are the highest reported results for police pursuit crashes in Illinois.

Beyond her work on behalf of clients, Ms. Salvi has dedicated significant time and effort to strengthening the legal community. From 2024 to 2025, she served as the President of Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth, an organization that channels legal resources into mentoring and tutoring programs in disadvantaged Chicago communities. Her systemic influence grew further in 2025 when she was selected for the Illinois Judicial Conference’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Task Force, helping state courts navigate complex legal environments while continuing to champion equal opportunity and structural justice. She was also selected by Illinois Supreme Court Justice Joy V. Cunningham to serve on Her Honor’s Judicial Selection Committee and by Illinois Supreme Court Justice Sanjay Tailor to serve on His Honor’s Judicial Screening Committee. Since 2022, she has served on the Young Professionals Board of the Chicago Bar Foundation (CBF). She currently serves on the Finance Committee and Judicial Evaluation Committee of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) and previously served two terms on the CBA’s Board of Managers.

Ms. Salvi is also passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion within the legal profession. She serves on the Diversity & Inclusion Committee of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and is an officer of the Board of Directors of the Japanese American Bar Association’s Educational Foundation, which provides scholarships to law students and recent graduates. In recognition of her leadership and service, she was honored with the Illinois State Bar Association’s “Diversity Leadership Award,” the Asian American Bar Association of Greater Chicago’s “Rising Star Award,” and recognized by Law Bulletin Media as one of its “Top Women Lawyers” and “40 Illinois Attorneys to Watch Under Forty.”

Ms. Salvi has also been selected to Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch” list and has repeatedly been named to the Illinois Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list and Law Bulletin Media’s “Emerging Lawyers” list.

Ms. Salvi earned her bachelor’s degree in European history from Pacific Union College before pursuing her law degree at the University of Notre Dame Law School. Upon receiving her Juris Doctor in 2015, she obtained her license to practice in Illinois. During law school, she developed a strong interest in plaintiffs’ justice and human rights issues. She served as vice president of the Asian Law Students Association and actively collaborated with Black and Hispanic student organizations to foster inclusive advocacy. This early experience shaped the passion that drives her work as an advocate for personal injury victims from all walks of life. She also assisted with an amicus curiae brief on behalf of families of victims of terrorism and served as an extern with the National Immigrant Justice Center.

Outside of work, Ms. Salvi enjoys exploring the world with her two children and her husband and fellow Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard attorney, Brian L. Salvi. She speaks Spanish, Japanese, and French.
