Jesse A. Placher

Before attending the Southern Illinois University School of Law for his Juris Doctor, Mr. Placher completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia. He worked as a clerk for a major defense firm while he was in law school. For the next 15 years, he defended hospitals and doctors in medical malpractice actions, 12 of which concluded with no awards for the plaintiff. Seeing the injustices in the health care industry firsthand, he felt compelled to protect the victims and joined Dudley & Lake with great enthusiasm in 2022.

Well-respected and highly skilled, Mr. Placher provides honest advice and works hard until his clients receive the justice and compensation they deserve. Undertaking an exhaustive inquiry using relevant specialists, he provides precise assessments of loss for each client. He has handled cases from all around Illinois, but Lake County, McHenry County, Kane County, DuPage County and Chicago have been his primary focus.
