As the founder of A. Traub & Associates, Angel M. Traub handles civil and criminal law cases. She represents people throughout Chicago and across Illinois in family law, estate planning and criminal cases.
Ms. Traub is a certified arbitrator for DuPage County. She is also trained and certified in collaborative divorce and mediation. A qualified guardian ad litem, Ms. Traub is a steadfast advocate for children. She adeptly guides families through complex situations that include custody disputes, child visitation, adoptions and guardianships.
When it comes to estate planning, Ms. Traub advocates for clients in probate, contested wills and estate administration. Her practice areas also include residential real estate, juvenile defense and defending people against drunk driving charges.
In 1998, Ms. Traub graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in corporate communications summa cum laude from Northern Illinois University. She then attended the University of Illinois John Marshall Law School, Chicago, earning a Juris Doctor cum laude in 2001. Ms. Traub was a member of the school's law review and participated in the National Mock Trial Competition.
Today, Ms. Traub holds an Avvo "Superb" rating for her commitment to clients and ability to get results. She has also been named in the American Society of Legal Advocates' Top 100 and has been named in Lawyers of Distinction.
