Jamie L. Mitchell

Deeply committed and passionate about family law issues, Jamie L. Mitchell is founder of The Law Office of Jamie Mitchell, LLC. While she is experienced in other legal areas, she finds the most satisfaction out of developing relationships with clients and helping through troubling times. As a family law attorney, she represents the following cities and counties in Illinois: Belleville, Edwardsville, Granite City, O’Fallon, Collinsville, Madison County and St. Clair County.

Since 2008, Ms. Mitchell is admitted to practice in Illinois and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association. In 2004, she graduated from Knox College with a double major in literature and political science and then went on to obtain a Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2008. Her practice focuses and represents clients in cases of paternity, child custody and visitation, military divorce, spousal support and the dissolution of marriage.

Ms. Mitchell understands that family law issues have long-term effects and are deeply personal, and strives to provide a capable, qualified, compassionate attorney to as many members of her community as possible. Always protecting the best interests of her clients, she preserves family finances and relationships, and counsels clients as they work through an incredibly trying time in life.
