Community Involvement
We are grateful to be a part of the McHenry community. We have raised our children here and are active in professional and philanthropic organizations.
Dan Johnson is the President of the McHenry County Kids In Need foundation. The Kids In Need foundation strives to identify and provide kids in need, the important resources necessary for a happy and healthy childhood.
The Kids In Need foundation consists of a few different programs. The Second Bridge Program offers a place for families to shop for clothing and other supplies, free of charge, delivery of items, playdates, assistance with birthdays, school supplies and much more. The Visitation Home provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to visit with their biological families, receive therapy or for caregivers to receive parent coaching. The Holiday Program hosts a holiday party for 150 kids along with supplying Christmas gifts for hundreds of kids in our community.
