Colin F. Diamond

An associate attorney at the Law Offices of Mathys & Schneid, based in Naperville, Illinois, Colin F. Diamond is deeply rooted in DuPage County, having been born and raised in Wheaton. He has been passed down a rich legacy in personal injury, being the son of a former personal injury attorney. Hence, his commitment to fighting for justice is deeply engraved in his morals.

Raised with values of preparation and resilience, Mr. Diamond earned his bachelor’s degree, majoring in political science and Spanish, from the University of Notre Dame. His legal education continued at Notre Dame Law School, where he received the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award and contributed to the Midwest Regional Championship mock trial team. He used the opportunity to intern for the Honorable Judge John W. Darrah at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and another at the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office.

Post-law school, Mr. Diamond commenced his career at the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, gaining extensive experience in traffic, misdemeanor, appeals and felony divisions. His role involved trying numerous jury and bench trials and arguing cases before the appellate court. Maintaining close affiliations with the legal community, he has memberships in the Illinois State Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association.

Beyond the legal realm, Mr. Diamond is actively involved in society and serves on the education committee at his former high school. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus as well. As a testament to his client-oriented service and legal acumen, he has been rated “Very Good” on Avvo.
