Jason A. Marker is a seasoned trial attorney and the founder of Marker Law, based in Naperville, Illinois. - In the field of Workers' Compensation - Mr. Marker settled the first ever permanent total disability award made under the Injured Workers' Benefit Fund, which broke new ground for how PTD cases are now handled at the Commission and by the Attorney General's office with respect to payouts in PTD cases under the fund. The total settlement of the case was $304,070.14., 2010
- Significant Appellate Work: 2011 - Principe v. County, 05 L 1083, Rule 23 Order and Decision filed 9/5/07 - Mr. Marker brough an appeal to the 2nd District Appellate Court in Elgin and successfully reversed a summary judgment ruling made by Judge Elsner. The matter was remanded and eventually settled. 2013 - Gilbert v. Illinois Tool Works, 12 MR 2070 - Mr. Marker brough an appeal to the Circuit Court of Will County from an Industrial Commission decision and successfully reversed the Commission's decision, remanding the matter back to the Arbitrator.
