A settlement was reached for the policy limits ($50,000 BI policy limits; $50,000 UIM policy limits) for the survivor of a man who suffered fatal injuries in a motorcycle accident that occurred when a car ran the red light, striking the motorcyclist. $150,000. A pre-suit settlement was reached for a woman who suffered multiple arm lacerations and puncture wounds when she was attacked by her neighbor’s dogs. The wound suffered permanent scarring as a result of the attack. $100,000. Kane County, Illinois. Motor Vehicle Accident, Hit and Run, neck and back injury. Settlement was reached for the policy limits in a broad side motor vehicle accident involving neck and low back injuries that required injections. The at fault party fled the scene but was later identified by police. $826,000. DuPage County, Illinois. Motor Vehicle versus Bicyclist Accident, cervical fractures with surgery. Settlement was reached for a man who sustained displaced cervical fractures that required a cervical fusion. The at fault party backed out of her driveway into a bicyclist already in the roadway and plead guilty to a citation for failure to yield to the right of way.
