Marilynn Frangella

Marilynn Frangella is a seasoned trial lawyer with over two decades of experience in personal injury litigation. She has successfully tried more than a hundred personal injury cases to verdict. Currently, Ms. Frangella is part of the Law Offices of John J. Malm & Associates, where she advocates for individuals and families affected by motor vehicle accidents, slips and falls, product liability, and dog bites. Her practice spans across Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, LaSalle and Will counties.

Ms. Frangella completed her education in Chicago, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science from DePaul University in 1997 and a Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 2000. Since then, she has been admitted to practice in Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois since 2011 and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois since 2017. She is an active member of several professional associations, such as the Illinois State Bar Association, the Kendall County Bar Association and the Will County Bar Association.

Growing up in Chicago, Ms. Frangella developed a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape in Illinois. Her legal career began with defending individuals and corporations in personal injury cases in both state and federal courts. This extensive experience in defense has equipped Ms. Frangella with a unique perspective, allowing her to anticipate the strategies of insurance companies and corporate defendants. She uses this knowledge to counteract their efforts to minimize or defeat claims, dedicating her resources to ensure her clients' success.
