Mark W. Mathys, one of the founding partners at the Law Offices of Mathys & Schneid, with establishments in both Naperville and Chicago, Illinois, is wholly devoted to securing favorable compensation for the damages and sufferings that his clients undergo due to the careless or illicit activities of others. Concentrating on personal injury matters in DuPage County, he is well-versed in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, birth traumas, construction accidents, medical malpractices, accidents on premises, defective products, traumatic brain injuries and wrongful death.

Having more than 31 years of experience in the legal field, Mr. Mathys is a highly regarded litigator who has capably led over 100 personal injury cases in front of juries all over the country. He is known for securing a record-setting multimillion-dollar jury verdict for two teenagers in DuPage County, Illinois, which is famously one of the nation's most conservative counties.

Perhaps what differentiates Mr. Mathys from many other personal injury lawyers is his own experience as a victim of a car accident caused by a negligent driver. This unique experience equips him to empathize deeply with his clients, allowing him to provide enhanced support and assistance to those he serves during their most challenging periods. His exceptional work advocating for innocent accident victims and their families has allowed him to recover millions in settlements and awards, earning him a place in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Mr. Mathys graduated cum laude from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, in 1990 and later obtained his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago in 1993. That same year, he received his license to practice law in Illinois and, afterward, in Kentucky in 2014. He has also been admitted before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (1993) and the U.S. Supreme Court (2005).

A Chicago native, Mr. Mathys maintains strong connections to his local community. He is a prominent member of numerous associations, such as the:

· DuPage County Bar Association

· Kane County Bar Association

· Illinois Trial Lawyers Association

· Illinois State Bar Association

· American Association for Justice

· DuPage County Bar Association, Civil Law and Practice Committee

· Kane County Bar Association, Civil Practice Committee

· Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Medical Negligence Committee

· Kentucky Bar Association

Furthermore, Mr. Mathys’ contribution to legal education extends to offering lectures at National Louis University and DePaul University. He also has a “Superb” rating on Avvo, along with several gratified clients' feedback and peer endorsements attesting to his unparalleled diligence.
