Charles Zivin

Charles Zivin is a partner at Wolf Solovy & Zivin, LLP, in Northbrook, Illinois, where he represents landlords in residential and commercial real estate transactions. Additionally, he manages contract law matters and business transactions. He also chairs the litigation team at his firm, handling evictions under the Forcible Entry and Detainer Act and the firm’s personal injury, civil and commercial litigation matters.

Representing clients across the North Shore and throughout the Chicago metropolitan area, Mr. Zivin also advocates for clients in various injury cases, including motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, slip and fall injuries, premises liability and wrongful death cases. Mr. Zivin graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a bachelor’s degree in 2012 and proceeded to enroll at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 2015. He was admitted to the Illinois State Bar Association in the following year. He is further admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. Tax Court. He worked as a law clerk during his time in law school, which exposed him to paperwork and filing for court cases early on.

Among various settlements Mr. Zivin has acquired for his clients, most notably, he received a $720,000 settlement for a woman who was a slip-and-fall victim working at a commercial warehouse. He is active in the legal community as a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the National Association of REALTORS.
