Elliot S. Wiczer

Elliot S. Wiczer is a partner at the firm Wiczer Jacobs LLC located in Northbrook, Illinois. He provides legal representation for both businesses and individuals across a range of legal issues. Additionally, he has assumed the role of external general counsel for multiple businesses. He also holds a pilot's license.

Mr. Wiczer has extensive experience representing clients in various types of litigation, including those pertaining to labor and employment law, business and commercial claims (including claims relating to international disputes), complex trademark and patent cases, real estate matters, promissory notes, guarantees, loan agreements, tax, secured transactions, shareholders disputes, and other general litigation matters.

Throughout his professional tenure, Mr. Wiczer has actively engaged in the pursuit of justice by participating in over 70 cases that were either tried or arbitrated to a final judgement or award in both state and federal court. Additionally, he has demonstrated his legal acumen by presenting persuasive arguments in multiple appellate proceedings.

Mr. Wiczer obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1987 and subsequently completed a Juris Doctor program at John Marshall School of Law in Chicago in 1991. He is licensed to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the U.S. Tax Court.

For his notable legal work, Mr. Wiczer has received a “Good” rating on Avvo. He has served as the chairman of the Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals in Highland Park, Illinois for over a decade, and serves as general counsel at the Staffing Services Association of Illinois.
