Kristen Gorenberg

Kristen L. Gorenberg concentrates her practice in Elder Law and Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Real Estate, General Corporate Law, and Income Tax Preparation. Kris attended the University of Illinois and graduated with a B.S. in Journalism. She earned her J.D. with high honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law and was an editor of the Law Review. After graduation, Kristen was a law clerk for the Honorable Rudy Lozano, District Judge for Northern District of Indiana. She is a Past President of the West Northfield School District 31 Board of Education, served on the board for eight years, and was the President of the West Northfield School District 31 Education Foundation. She is a member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce, the Exclusive Professional Women's Networking Group, and North Shore LAW. Kris serves on the Northbrook Zoning Board of Appeals and has an Illinois Managing Real Estate Broker's license. Her legal volunteer work includes providing free legal services for the Lawyers for the Creative Arts and the Amicus Poloniae Legal Clinic, which is a legal clinic primarily for the Chicago Polish community. She has assisted with the editing of two books, Not Dead Yet, Tie Up Loose Ends While You Can Still Make a Knot, by Eric G. Matlin and the Best Dating Advice I Ever Got 2, by Dr. Ali Binazir.
