Lori G. Levin is an accomplished criminal defense attorney with over four decades of legal experience. She is the principal at The office of Lori G. Levin, Attorney At Law, and aggressively advocates for the rights and liberties of individuals in criminal and juvenile defense matters as well as administrative law matters, including but not limited to:

After completing her Bachelor of Science in journalism at the University of Illinois in 1977, Ms. Levin received her J.D. in 1980 from the Georgetown University Law Center. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

A leader in her field, Ms. Levin has served the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois in several leadership positions, including as its president, treasurer, co-chair, vice-president and board member. Similarly, she has held an array of roles in the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. 

Ms. Levin’s other affiliations include the Chicago Bar Association, the Women’s Criminal Defense Bar Association, the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, the Decalogue Society of Lawyers and the Illinois Bar Foundation. She also chaired Illinois Integrated Justice Information Systems Implementation Board and worked on various boards including the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority, the Illinois Family Violence Coordinating Council and Redeploy Illinois. 

Before establishing her firm, Ms. Levin served as a supervisor of the Seniors and Persons with Disabilities Division of the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. She also functioned as the Executive Director of the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority, a state organization that managed a budget of more than $100 million in justice funds and justice research.

For demonstrating greatness and maintaining the highest principles of the legal profession, the Academy of Illinois Lawyers bestowed Ms. Levin with the Illinois Laureate Award in 2017. She is also a recipient of the Matthew Maloney Tradition of Excellence Award (2014). Additionally, she was listed among the Leading Criminal Defense Lawyers by Leading Lawyers and rated "Superb" on Avvo.

Ms. Levin frequently appears as a guest commentator on local and national television channels. She also lectures and presents at seminars and conferences across California in addition to organizing events to improve mental health and social awareness.
