Nicole DeBella

At the Law Offices of William J. Seitz, LLC, Nicole DeBella handles tax cases for clients in the Chicago metropolitan area and throughout Illinois. A senior attorney, her focus includes tax policy, dispute resolution, condominium and operatives, administrative hearings, tax planning and property tax appeals. Since 2013, Nicole has been representing commercial, industrial, and residential clients primarily in real estate tax cases, as well as state, local, and municipal law issues.

Nicole is admitted to practice in Illinois courts and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Currently, Nicole serves as Membership Vice President of the Women’s Property Tax Association and on the State and Local Tax Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association. 

At the University of Florida in 2005, Nicole graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. She then attended Loyola University School of Law to earn a Juris Doctor in 2012 and a master’s of law in health law in 2013. She was formerly employed by the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago as a legal extern for the office of general counsel and corporate compliance and also by the American Dental Association’s division of legal affairs.

Nicole is knowledgeable and experienced in civil litigation, health policy, privacy law, contract law, litigation management, administrative law, and document review. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and formerly served on the Board of Managers for the Decalogue Society of Lawyers.
