Mike Agruss founded 844SeeMike Personal Injury Lawyers in March 2012 and is the firm’s managing attorney. He represents individual people, never companies, businesses, or insurance companies. As Mike says, “You are either a plaintiff’s lawyer or you are not. I am 100% a plaintiff’s lawyer.”

Mike handles car accidents, truck accidents, rideshare accidents (Uber or Lyft), bicycle and motorcycle accidents, dog bites, nursing home abuse or neglect, and slip-and-fall accidents. Since 2004, he has tried eight jury trials and one bench trial to verdict, and has arbitrated, mediated, and pretried dozens of cases.

Mike has been licensed in Illinois since 2004 and in California since 2008. He was admitted to the Federal Trial Bar of the Northern District of Illinois in 2006 and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in 2017.

He earned his J.D. in 2004 from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where he was Executive Editor of the Journal of Information Technology & Privacy Law, and his B.A. in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1999.
