Deborah Spector

Managing partner and lead attorney at Spector and Lenz, PC, Deborah Spector represents clients in the Chicagoland area in matters of Social Security Disability law. For over four decades, she has represented Social Security claimants on judicial review and in disability adjudications, and she is known as a zealous advocate for the rights of her clients.

Ms. Spector is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois. She is also admitted to practice before the following federal courts: the Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, the Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the Supreme Court of the United States and the Supreme Court of the State of Illinois.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University, Ms. Spector then moved on to law school to complete her goal of becoming an attorney. At DePaul University College of Law, she graduated with a Juris Doctor and began practicing Social Security law with a focus on disability claims including survivors, retirement, disabled adults and eligible children.

Passionate about restoring dignity and securing an income for her clients, Ms. Spector provides knowledgeable and compassionate representation to those in the area.
