Lyn C. Conniff

Highly regarded for her professional demeanor and strong analytical skills while guiding clients through their family law issues, Lyn C. Conniff has been the managing partner since 1992 at Conniff Law Offices, located in Oak Park, Illinois. Representing clients throughout Cook, DuPage, and Lake counties, she handles divorces in both courtroom and collaborative law settings, child custody and support, property division, prenuptial agreements, alimony and related matters.

Lyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and politics from the University of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. She pursued her legal education at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and was awarded her Juris Doctor in 1987. Lyn was admitted to practice in the state of Illinois the same year.

Following law school, Lyn worked as a corporate and securities attorney for several years before turning to family law and opening her namesake firm. Since that time, she has earned the high regard of her fellow professionals, as evidenced by her superb peer reviews on Avvo. A past president of the West Suburban Bar Association, Lyn is also a member of the American, Chicago, and Illinois State Bar associations.

Since beginning her training in 2002, Lyn has strongly emphasized collaborative law practices, which she believes strengthens families that are going through the divorce process. She continues to attend training regularly in both Australia and Chicago and is a fellow of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois. Lyn is also an active member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
