An experienced family law attorney, Ms. Marks handles cases involving issues such as alimony, child support, custody, dissolution, divorce, fathers’ rights, marital property, name change, paternity, prenuptial agreements and same-sex family law. Ms. Marks earned a bachelor’s degree in health care administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She received her law degree from the UIC John Marshall Law School. She holds a license to practice law before all Illinois state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Trial Bar.

Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, Ms. Marks spent many years working in the health care field. She worked as a nursing home administrator and served in various executive positions.
